This has been in my saved places to try since they opened and I finally made the drive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND From the moment I walked in the cashier was very friendly and helpful. They have sweet plantains!!!! And they are excellent. But the real prize was the Cuban sandwich cooked perfectly with crisp bread and excellent meats and pickles. Miami Fusion Cafe is one of three family-owned spots, and this location is great for pretty much any group size. It has two main seating areas and a sit-down bar with stools offering plenty of room for larger parties or events. It's not overly noisy, very family-friendly, and they have local art on the walls that adds a nice hometown touch. Pastries are made from scratch, which is always a win. The Cuban Sandwich was really flavorful with a good crunch on the bread. It held together well, and the portion was just right – satisfying without being too much. The Pasta Salad had a nice balance of ingredients; nothing overpowered anything else, and it had a subtle kick. Felt light and fresh. The Yuca Rellena with ground beef is a great substitute for Papa Rellena. It's kind of a secret menu item. Bonus: Yuca is gluten-free and gives you steady energy. I have been searching for a decent Piña Coladas anda they have it on their liquor menu. It was beautiful made and decorated. I loved the taste, though a little light on the rum (no real buzz). Prices depend on what you get, but everything felt worth it. You can pay with cash, card, at the table, at the register or bar, or online. I've already been thinking about going back. Good food, friendly service (shoutout to Peyton, Cierra, and Adarely), and a comfortable vibe overall. Definitely recommend checking it out.
Delicious, authentic food that reminded me of home (Miami). Sweet staff, good playlist, lovely bar, nice atmosphere with creative decor. Will be driving cross-state for this again. Thank you Molly and Yuri.
Service from Melanie and Bry was fantastic — super friendly and on point the whole time. The coladita tasted just like real Cuban coffee, and the food hit the spot. I had the Cuban sandwich and we shared the stuffed tostones with shredded beef… both were delicious. Big plates, fair prices, and a chill atmosphere. Definitely five stars.
Miami Fusion – A Taste of Home in Lowell The perfect spot near home that makes me miss Puerto Rico a little less. This Cuban gem is truly a treasure for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The food is authentic and delicious, the coffee is amazing, and the atmosphere has a gorgeous island vibe that brings back all the right memories — minus the heat! Whether you’re craving a comforting Cuban sandwich, authentic mofongo, or just a place to unwind with great coffee, this has become our new go-to spot any time of day. Highly recommend!
Big thank you to Melanie, Bry, and Alex! We started with some loaded tostones and my fave croquetas. Kept dinner classic and simple with a Cuban and a flavorful burrito they had on the menu. I enjoyed the atmosphere very much, and the location has a full bar with a great selection of drafts. Do not forget to try as many sauces as you can!! All were great. So yummy and close to home.
